Wake Robin Group  ·  Long Island, New York

I build businesses where families feel at home — and I show up every day to make sure they do.

I grew up in Westport, Connecticut — on Wake Robin Road, the kind of street where neighbors knew each other and local businesses were part of the community's fabric. That environment shaped how I think about business: not as a transaction, but as a relationship built over time.

I founded Wake Robin Group — named for the road I grew up on — to build businesses I'd be proud to own for the long run. Today we operate three Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming locations on Long Island, with a fourth in development. We're the people behind the counter, the ones who built the systems, hired the team, and answer the phone when something goes wrong. That's how we like it.

Day 1
Still Involved

Franchise operating isn't glamorous. It's about the details, the people, and the consistency that earns trust over time. These are the principles I bring to every business I build.

I
Show Up

The best operators are present. I'm in our stores, I know the team by name, and I'm reachable when it matters. Owners who disappear create businesses that drift.

II
Build for People

The team is everything. I invest in hiring right, training thoroughly, and creating an environment where people want to stay. Culture isn't a poster on the wall.

III
Think Long

I'm not building to sell. Every decision — from how we train a new groomer to how we handle a difficult customer — is made with the next ten years in mind.

IV
Earn the Trust

Families bring us their pets. That's a real responsibility. We earn that trust through consistency, care, and showing up the same way every single day.
